Learn the basics of InDesign with Christmas Press Commissioning Editor and book designer, Beattie Alvarez.

Use Adobe InDesign like a professional to create posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentations, books and ebooks, and book covers!

In this cosy, two and a half hour workshop, Beattie will take you through project layout and design principals, including the 'must know how' nitty gritty details.

This is an in-person workshop so numbers are limited.

Cost:  $75 for NEWC members, $90 for non-members

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
  • A laptop with InDesign already installed. You can use the Adobe 30-day free trial.
  • A document or manuscript (in Word or equivalent), and some images (photos, graphics, etc. ) Images need to be jpeg, psd, AI or tiff formats.
