Illustrating Nature with Illustrator, Sami Bayli

An extraordinary opportunity for aspiring illustrators and artists to get a first-hand look into the publishing industry from a children’s book author/illustrator. Have fun, play with art and learn all you need to know before stepping into the industry yourself.
  • Learn how to use coloured pencils, blend, colour match and explore the different techniques possible.
  • Learn how to understand symmetry and work with it to create beautiful, even artworks.
  • Learn about scientific illustration and how to blend art and science.
  • Uncover the journey from finished artworks to book-ready illustrations, getting a first-hand Photoshop tutorial and learning how to erase backgrounds cleanly, edit your artworks, work with layers and understanding what are the best file types and file sizes to work with.
  • See how fonts, colours, layouts and more have the ability to change a books feeling entirely. Learning what designs are best when it comes to your desired books theme and subject matter.
