The New England Writers Centre is proud to present Kiss and Kill, a workshop to help you when writing about Love and Danger from Australia’s award winning Romantic Suspense writer, Bronwyn Parry.
This full day workshop is packed with writing exercises and comprehensive tutoring where you will be guided through the skills and approaches of romantic suspense writing. Bronwyn Parry is Australia’s preeminent, award winning, romantic suspense writer.
International award winner Bronwyn Parry’s romantic thrillers set in Australia’s wild places have been published in Australia, the UK, Germany and the Czech Republic. The manuscript for her first novel, As Darkness Falls, won a prestigious Golden Heart Award from the Romance Writers of America, and both her second and third novels, Dark Country and Dead Heat were finalists in the Romance Writers of America RITA awards – the Oscars of romance writing – and in the Daphne du Maurier Award for romantic suspense. Both books also won the Australian Romance Readers Association award for Favourite Romantic Suspense in 2010 and 2012. Bronwyn’s fourth book, Darkening Skies, and her fifth book,Storm Clouds, were also a finalists in the ARRA Awards. Bronwyn’s sixth book, Sunset Shadows, will be published by Hachette Australia in August, 2016. An occasional academic, Bronwyn’s research interests are in fiction, its readership and contemporary publishing, and she is passionate about the richness, diversity, and value of popular fiction. Bronwyn lives on 100 acres of bushland in the New England tablelands of northern NSW, and travels extensively in rural and outback Australia. |
