Are you writing for children?

Then this workshop is for you! Beloved children's author, Gabrielle Wang, will be visiting Armidale for the Children's Literature Festival. 

This half-day workshop is a unique opportunity for local writers to meet and learn from such an experienced author.  Gabrielle will lead you through a series of discussions and creative exercises to gain invaluable insight and experience into the unique requirements of writing for children.

We urge you to book early, as space is limited.

All about Gabrielle

​Gabrielle Wang is an award winning author and illustrator of novels and picture books for children and young adults.  Her books are a blend of Chinese and Western culture, with a touch of fantasy! 

Gabrielle has published sixteen children’s novels with Penguin Books Australia and a picture book, The Race for the Chinese Zodiac, with Walker Books. She has been published internationally in the US, UK, China, South America and Korea. Gabrielle is also author of two of the very popular Our Australian Girl series, Poppy and Pearlie. Her latest novel is The Beast of Hushing Wood.
