  New England Writers' Centre
Due to popular demand we have reopened the bookings for the last two sessions of The Submission Process!

The Submission Process

So you have a finished manuscript or a book idea – what now? This workshop takes you through the process of preparing your work for submission to a publisher or agent. Find out how to:
  • prepare your submission, including what to send, writing a synopsis, your “author bio” and “platform”, and presentation
  • research publishers and agents, including choosing the right publisher or agent, and understanding their requirements
  • tailor submissions, including formal proposals, enquiry letters and pitches
  • respond to positive replies – and to rejections.
Each session builds on the previous session and includes practical exercises based on your own manuscript or book idea.

When: 3rd and 10th of August
