  New England Writers' Centre

Three talks. Nine writers. So many great books.

Picture
Take a Sunday tea break and join us for one, two or all of the What Writers Read panels, where we'll be zooming in to hear directly from some of Australia's most respected and beloved authors as they talk all things books and storytelling.

This series is brought to you by the New England Writers' Centre in collaboration with Australia Reads.

We welcome you to join this fabulous cast of Australia Reads Ambassadors as they discuss the books they're currently reading, works that have influenced them the most and, of course, what they might be planning to pick up for Reading Hour on Tuesday 14 September.

A list of books references (to add to your TBRpile!) will be published after our final panel on Sunday 5 September.

Don't miss out!

For three Sundays in a row, you will have the chance to tune in and chill out with acclaimed writers for all ages and genres.

Click the buttons opposite to book your place. Each Sunday talk is free and you're welcome to join us for one, two or all of the sessions but you will need to book each session separately.

The panels will be delivered via Zoom meetings and each panel starts at 3pm (Eastern Standard Time)
Bookings close at 12 noon each Sunday

More Books, More Often
Australia Reads is a unique Australian book industry collaboration between authors, booksellers, libraries and publishers.

Born of  shared passion for books and a belief that reading is the key to a smarter, healthier, happier nation, the Australian Reads partners champion reading by curating a content and connecting businesses, communities, organisations and schools with Australia's great authors.

This year's Reading Hour is on Tuesday 14 September, with events and activities planned for schools, libraries and bookshops across Australia.

What better way to prepare for reading our than joining our fabulous authors for coffee and a chat over three relaxing Sunday afternoons?

We look forward to seeing you there!
